ICML 2009: Continuing Education: EndNote Masterclass: Tips for the Experienced User

Presenter/s: Mr John East, Mrs Noela Yates and Ms Sue Curlewis. University of Queensland Library Endnote Resource

Biography: John East, Noela Yates and Sue Curlewis are librarians at the University of Queensland Library. Between them, they have about thirty years experience in providing training and support to EndNote users. The University of Queensland Library's EndNote website is internationally recognised as a resource for the EndNote user. It provides an up-to-date terms list of medical journal titles which is particularly popular in the biomedical community.

Session: This will be a hands-on workshop providing training in a variety of advanced features of the EndNote software, with particular emphasis on its use in the biomedical sciences. Topics to be covered will include modifying reference types, editing output styles, using term lists for abbreviated journal titles, and using EndNote for collaboration. The integration of EndNote with the QUOSA document management software will also be covered. Please note that this session is designed for those who already have a working knowledge of the EndNote software: this is not an introductory EndNote training course.
