Biography: Nicola Cross is part of the Statistical Literacy team at the Australian Bureau of Statistics. She has previously worked in academic libraries, and taught in the Canberra Institute of Technology's Library and Information Services program.

Session: Increase your skills in finding and understanding health statistics. This workshop will cover what you should know about accessing and using health data and other key demographic statistics. It includes understanding important underlying concepts and how to avoid common mistakes. The workshop will also demonstrate new resources and ways of presenting data.
