6th International Conference of Animal Health Information Specialists (ICAHIS)

This will be the second time this Conference has been held in association with the ICML and following on from the 5th Conference (held in South Africa in July 2005) this meeting will bring together librarians specialising in animal health from around the world to discuss a range of issues relevent to their profession.

Submission Categories

Advancing communication in animal health practice. For example: coping with web content; preserving content by digitization; sharing copyrighted materials legally; using specialized databases; creating and/or maintaining repositories; accessing veterinary archives; assessing the impact of e-journals.

Improving information transfer research to practice. For example: evidence based veterinary medicine; translational medicine; one medicine/one health; public health and zoonotics.

Partnerships and collaborations in animal health. For example: consortia agreements; collective collection development; web portal projects.
